OK, I Surrender

I want a makeover. A complete makeover. Maybe I’m the last woman in America who wants one, or I feel like I am anyway.

For the first time in my life, I am content and totally open to God’s leading in my life. Gulp.

God has already really been working on me this last year since He called me to the Proverbs 31 Ministries family. Maybe it’s because I’m ready to be molded more. I know I’ve needed molding for a long time, but was too stubborn or prideful to let Him whittle me down, to make me into someone He could use mightily for His Kingdom. Little me, big Him.

Two years ago this November I relaunched this “Pure Inspiration” blog. Each week I ask the Lord what He wants me to communicate. It’s rather intimidating to send a message out about God to the world not knowing how it will be received.

Thank you for your grace and patience with me each Tuesday. Because God is changing me so much, I’d like to ask you how I may serve you better.  Please give your gut honest feedback. Thank you for being my mirror.

1) Is once a week “Pure Inspiration” too much?

2) What is your favorite part about “Pure Inspiration?

3) What would you like to change most about “Pure Inspiration?

4) Would you rather have deeper Bible teaching?

5) Would you rather have a Bible series?

6) Is it too serious? Too light?

7) What would you rather see?

I love and appreciate you, friend. Thank you for you much-needed comments.

Reflect:

How would you like God to make you over?

Renew:

“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come!” –2 Corinthians 5:17 NIV

Danya, Please don’t let any little doubts make you rethink the rhythm and flow you already have. You are giving us deep thoughts to consider and lighter moments to think about later or share with others at another time. I’ve gotten used to seeing your smiling face on a regular basis – don’t be making any sudden moves, ha.

I’m sure we all appreciate the hours of thought and prayer you put into your devotions. We just forget to let you know. I thank you.

  3. Danya, I always love your messages. Who are we to try and second guess Our Lord? I believe you are following HIS leading? Miss you lots!
